In Tuesday’s nonconference matchup, Two Rivers overcomes a 1st-set loss to topple Sheboygan South 3-1. The Raiders led the 1st set 22-17, when the Red Wings called a pivotal timeout. The Red Wings would score on the next 8 unanswered to capture the 1st set. After a near collapse again in the 2nd set, the Raiders settled in and won the match 3-1.

The Raiders dominated the stat sheet over the Red Wings. 47-18 Team Kills, 51-39 Team Digs, 45-17 Assists, and the Raiders outperformed the Red Wings 5-4 in blocks and 12-11 in serving aces.

Senior Quinn McGinty led the team with 15 kills. Junior Isabel Bateman had 10 kills, while leading the team in blocks with 2, and 11 digs. Sophomore Malia Miller led the team with 22 assists and senior Alexia Bielinski led the team with 3 serving aces.

The Raiders start conference play vs the Chilton Tigers on Tuesday, September 8th.
