After dropping 5 consecutive games, the Two Rivers Raiders Softball team bounce back Thursday night to defeat Sheboygan Falls 2-1.

A dominant pitching performance from both teams with both teams combining for 8 hits. Senior Anna Klein picked up the win, pitching 7 innings allowing 3 hits, 1 R, 1 BB, and collecting 11 K’s. The game was tied 0-0 over halfway of the game until the Falcons took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 5th inning on a Fielder’s Choice.

The Raiders bounced back in the top of the 6th inning when the first two batters struck out, when Sophomores Sydney Arnold and Addison Peronto hit a single. Next batter Freshman Peytynn Schramm gave the Raiders the lead with a 2 RBI Double. Klein shut down the Falcons in the 6th and 7th inning.

The Raiders travel to Baraboo this weekend for a Softball tournament.
