Senior Max Matthias finished his career with 2 3rd-Place medals in Freshman & Sophomore year and 2 2nd-Place medals in his Junior and Senior year. Matthias lost in the finals by Decision 7-1.

Senior Angie Bianchi capped off an over a decade-long tradition of a Bianchi wrestling at the Kohl Center. She lost by Decision 4-3 in the finals. Bianchi earned a 2 2nd-Place medals in her Freshman & Senior year and was a 2-Time State Champion her Sophomore and Junior year. The Bianchi family finished with a total of 16 State medalists and 10 State Titles between Angie and her 3 brothers, Joey, Paul, and Matty (Matty being a 4-Time State Champion).

Angie, Derek, and Max combined for over 350 career wins. The three also led the team to it’s first Team Sectional appearance since 2016! The team finished 4th place @ the team sectional tournament @ Denmark.
